As a graduate of Arkansas Tech University (ATU) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, my areas of expertise are—Motion Graphics, Video Editing, Photography, 3D Modeling/Printing, Interactive Design, Illustration, and Photoshop. Prior to attending ATU, I served 11 years as a Fire Controlman technician in the United States Navy—working on navigation equipment, radars, and weapon computer systems. Throughout my tenure in the Navy, I served 2 sea-tours onboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65)—embarking on 4 major deployments for Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn. I also served 3 years of shore duty at the Naval Station Great Lakes near Chicago, IL.
While serving my country was both an honor and a privilege, I have always been an artist at heart. With my service behind me, I’m focusing on my creative passions, growing my existing skill set, and actively building upon my portfolio using a variety of art mediums to bring outstanding projects to life.
My hobbies and interests include: conceptual art & storyboarding, building models and replicas of movie props from scratch, photography, animation, apparel logos, television & film, and music. My favorite things to watch and read about are—any kind of US Military History (mainly naval stuff), Science Fiction (mainly Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and anything with androids), Superheroes (Mainly DC, but enjoy the MCU as well), 2D & 3D Animation (love both Disney and Dreamworks stuff).
