“In the Navy” Series

The following are images I Photoshopped (all in fun) while serving in the Navy. It was a great way to keep people smiling and boost morale during downtime on deployments. I hope you enjoy; feel free to leave any constructive comments below!

One of my shipmates approached me, holding a National Geographic magazine, and challenged me to Photoshop him “eating a zebra”. I grabbed random shipmates and had them pose as witnesses for the imaginary zebra’s fated end.

Being a Trekkie stationed onboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), I of course had to Photoshop my division onto the bridge of the Starship Enterprise.

Strange things were happening aboard the ship. In this image, only the 2 guys in front of the screen were present for the original photo. I had them pose in front of a blank screen, and then Photoshopped “The Ring” and the other guys into the photo.

No ship is complete without a GIANT. He was of course Photoshopped into this image.

Our Division Officer (The Great and Powerful Oz) hanging out in Munchkin Land. (None of which were actually ‘Munchkins’)

I had to have a little fun using the flight deck of the USS Enterprise. In this image, the USS Voyager is doing a fly by.

Slacking clearly wasn’t tolerated by our Leading Chief Petty Officer. (Disclaimer: No one was actually harmed in the making of this photo)

In downtime on the ship, we found creative ways to pass time. A puppet show is good for that, right? Pictured here is the Chief pulling all of the strings. (The puppet and his strings were Photoshopped into this image)

Reenacting one of their favorite movies, the Chief and an LPO posed for this image.

Levitating (but not really)

“Sith and the City” Series

The following images were all a part of a project for one of my photography classes. We were tasked with creating a photo book of images telling a story.  I took several photos around the city of Dallas, and superimposed images of Darth Vader I found through a Google Search.  The images of the iconic villain were collected using the search filter: labeled for reuse with modifications. The title of my photo book was Sith and the City.
